Cultivating Buoyancy is the private practice of Anna Singh Deo, offering support and education for strengthening your inner resources, for keeping your center in times of turmoil and for skillfully navigating life’s difficulties.
I am Anna Singh Deo and I provide self-care education through teaching inner awareness practices and subtle energy exercises. I assist people with being more buoyant; more able to remain afloat when loading pressures increase and to stay sustained from the inside out. I started my Cultivating Buoyancy practice, because I saw that good people doing good work were getting swamped and burning out. As a compassionate witness and inner wilderness guide, I support and encourage people through the myriad of challenges that life can bring.
Hello,
I’m so glad you found your way to my website.
Does life feel heavy? Are you weighted down, not able to float? Struggling to just tread water?
Are you anxious? Feeling stressed, struggling with the uncertainty of things?
Do you feel stuck? Have you lost your bearings, your direction?
Are you asking yourself, “Where do I go from here?”
Thinking, “There’s got to be another way!”
Are you needing support, wanting to be seen through this difficulty?
Does receiving some skilled assistance sound like a good thing?
Would gentle guidance be helpful, for finding your way?
For moving through this challenge and out the other side?
If so, I have a feeling that you’re in the right place!

A Bit About Me…
Through all the twists and turns of my life and learning, I’ve come to understand that…
~ We All Have Challenges … Everyone Experiences Pain
~ More Calm, Less Chaos … is within One’s Own Power
~ Unhealed Pain … Perpetuates Pain
~ Turbulent Times … Demand We Live Differently
~ To Grow Through What We Go Through … is a Real Option
~ Truth Telling with Compassionate Witnessing … Helps & Heals
~ Cultivating Buoyancy … is Possible, a Conscious Choice We Can Make
Initially introduced to meditation by my step-father, for over 30 years now I’ve practiced Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are. This style of contemplative practice is one of India’s most ancient techniques of meditation. Today, Vipassana is commonly referenced, when using the English language, as Insight Meditation.
Over time, I’ve come to realize my meditation practice is a process of “Deep Listening” and a pathway for nurturing “Self-Awareness and Kindfulness”.
Ordained as a Lay Chaplain by Roshi Joan Halifax, Abbot of Upaya Zen Center (2011) and trained in Subtle Energy Healing by Elizabeth Frediani, I provide compassionate witnessing and self-care education to individuals and small groups.
What I Offer…
I assist and encourage people with being sustained from the inside out, and with bringing more buoyance into their everyday lives. My deep passion is to support individuals committed to their own healing journey. Self-care is foundational to our efforts and actions focused on creating a more respectful, just and healthy world for all beings. With this understanding, I offer these services…
Soul Witnessing Practicesm* ~
Soul Witnessing Practice is an energetic healing process for resolving challenging and painful experiences. In SWP sessions, I facilitate this very accessible yet profound transformational process for private clients. What we have experienced in life that is of benefit to us and what we have healed…contributes to our strength and vitality. What is marked by loss, stress and/or trauma and is not healed…diminishes our strength and vitality. SWP offers a gentle way of addressing and attending what remains unhealed. * service mark
